The Moroccan Rhassoul 5-in-1 Clay Treatment is what I'm confused about?? The clay is very hard, so it's difficult to get it out of the bottle unless I remove the cap and squeeze the bottle. How often can I use this product and can I warm the clay under hot water? I must admit that my hair feels softer in the center where the texture of my hair is more coarse and has a tighter coil. I would like to review this product again in a month. By then, I can determine if I will be reordering especially with the new hair growth. Otherwise, so far, very good.

I really love the clay which is a 3 in 1, shampoo, deep conditioner and detangler. I have to order a bigger jar. However, the moisturizing cream was hard on my hair because of the demethicone. Any of the cones create a build up on the hair so I used a moisturizer without them. Other than that I love step 1 and 3. I have not used the definition gel just yet so don't have a review on that. As an Asian man, I'm probably as far outside the target demographic as you can get for a product like this. Most of the time my hair doesn't get tangled to begin with. Most of the time it does, a quick wash and brush (and sometimes vinegar) is enough to untangle it. On the rare occasion something my hair is REALLY tangled, this is my go-to solution. I watched several videos of Naturalicious CEO, Gwen Jimmere actually demonstrating with rationale of what the products do, what they’re made of, and how they act on our hair. I never thought using clay on my hair would be so effective!!! The clinch for me was the time saving results on a wash and go. She demonstrated the technique in application of the products for maximum results. Later on, I attended on video the Style Academy and then Cohort 5 Repair Your Hair Challenge. More information regarding how to care for our hair as we washed and conditioned together on video. Keeping each other uplifted and moving forward as we saw results on each others’ hair, was a great experience. The coaches and leadership were very supportive and phenomenal. It helped me personally to see how I could get more definition every time, rather than trying different products and not really knowing how the hair will turn out each time. Through diligent and consistent hair care applications with their products, I can say I have seen a great improvement in growth, volume, and definition. My husband and family notice the difference as well. It has been very difficult to manage my grey own hair with and its texture and different wiry shape which counters the original color’s curl, but the products and the techniques have helped 100%. I have shorter 4c hair, but don’t a lot of processing of it. I have always wanted to try a clay shampoo, and my usual routine was to rarely shampoo and just use a co-wash. I decided to give the product a try after seeing it on The View, watched the videos and decided to try for myself. It’s a bit messier than my usual wash days. I haven’t perfected the scoop of clay from the jar to the hair without some loss in the bottom of the tub (could a small paddle or tongue depressor work?) but after painting my sectioned hair, detangling, rinsing, and then conditioning again with the clay I love the results. I tried the deep conditioning once with the hot oil and that was good too. Only thing that wasn’t up my alley was the step 2. I find after rinsing after conditioning, my hair is ready for styling with a nice gel while soaking wet. I use Uncle Funkys curly magic. Then I improvise a T-shirt towel, and lotion up while it dries. By then I’m able to shake out my hair and it is shiny, healthy looking, with nice curl clumping—even the trouble spots in the center of my head. And it seems to be getting better each week I use the clay. It’s a great product for washing and deep conditioning. I would highly recommend. And I highly recommend the videos for technique and guidance.

As I started getting more into my natural hair journey I wanted to make sure I was using good products. I began learning about ingredients and immediately noticed all of the cons about silicones. I was disappointed when I saw the ingredients label on this and unfortunately saw the ingredient dimethicone. I had an issue with my hair about 2 1/2 years ago, and I found Gwen on the internet (Facebook i think)…she was showing everyone how to wash our hair and moisturize correctly. I have to say that I followed her instructions and my hair started to repair itself. I was one of those who thought you shouldn't get your hair wet, but learned that water is very important for moisturizing. Day 3 style !! After cleansing with Step 1 and step 3 combined as a hot oil treatment, then use step 2 as my styler for tightly coiled hair. Step 3, Define Shine Moisture Lock and Frizz Fighter was also used in the L. C.O method ( liquid, cream, oil) when putting my hair in this style. It locks in moisture and prevents my hair from frizzing. Look at that shine!!!!

I was referred to Naturalicious by a friend. My hair is very healthy and not damaged. I really like the step 1. I'm not sure about 30 minutes for my hair but shorter wash time being able to detangle in a few minutes for sure. Wash and go immediate curls I did not see but being able to manage my hair was good. The step 2 moisturizer was good. I discovered the bundle came with the growth oil and not step 3 . That was disappointing since the process promotes a Step 1,2 and 3. I feel bad because I referred a friend and she purchased that same bundle with no step 3. So I used that oil to do a hot oil treatment and seal the moisture. I order the Dramatic gel and so far its great for edge control but will try it for a twist set or braidout after I eventually order step 3.

I should’ve ordered two Step 1 (Rhassoul 5-in-1) though, only because the amount being used on two heads and I feel like not enough product in the jar. Besides that I’m satisfied with the moisture and growth our hair is going!
