The oil (Step 3) keeps my hair soft. I apply it after it is moisturized with Step 2, after shampoo and deep conditioning and hot oil treatment. The Step 3 is used also for the hot oil treatment during the deep conditioning after the shampoo. Each night before I go to bed, I moisturize with Step 2 and then apply Step 3 to seal in the moisture, and cover the hair with my Naturalicious scarf. In the morning when I get up, the hair is soft. If I don’t do this process each night, sometimes the hair feels stiff and dry. So, I apply Step 2 and then Step 3 after misting some water into the hair first.

I really love the product and saw a curl pattern almost right away although not one that could give me a style. My hair is growing but I am using several products to help with growth but this product likely also contributed. My only complaint is clay shampoo can be messy and the cost is expensive for # of washes you get but overall I would recommend the product.
