Was not a fan of the clay shampoo. Didn't feel like my hair was clean enough and had to use half the bottle. Bottle too small for the price. Everything is just ok...was hoping to experience a noticeable difference in moisture...but it was about the same as most brands. I did really like the GEL!!!

The consistency of this product was not what I expected. It was more oily than I anticipated but not bad, just different. The smell was more like a perfume which I didn't care for too much but it did hold my edges a little. I only used it once so I can't really say if it will greatly enhance my curls yet.

This Gel is light, has a wonderful smell, is easy to use, and holds perfectly. Because I an heavy-handed, I don’t use it as often as I used to. It is too hot here and I only need a little on my ends to help give a little definition and hold. I don’t like it on my sides / edges too much. Just my preference. Does not build-up or leave residue. I love this product!

I wish the clay and oil came in an applicator bottle because it can get messy. I didn't expect miraculous results because I have issues with my hair that I have to work on. Overall, I liked the shortened wash time. I only used it once so far and did not notice a difference in my hair.

This gel is wonderful, it's not greasey or viscous like some gels are and it feels soft when applied to my hair. Only concern is when I applied it after the infusion moisture styling creme, it didn't adhere very well at first until I kept working it in for several minutes but maybe that's the process. But for the first time using this, I'll continue to use it. Thank you so much. ♂️

The gel is fantastic! Lightweight and effective! It has a great smell as well. Plus, other gels that I have tried have been sticky. DD gel or liquid gold as some have called it, is not sticky. One problem: the packaging. Due to its consistency, the gel would serve better in a pump. My opinion.

I have 4c gray very resistant hair and used the gel along with a name brand edge control. I found the hold to be softer and stayed much longer with the your gel. I have not used as a twist out at this time.

I love this gel! This is day 4 of my wash and go using step 1, 2, gel while my hair is damp to wet and then step 3! The curls get more defined every day! I work in a VERY HOT factory in the summer. The gel did it’s thang! It didn’t cake up or flake and I was a little heavy handed this time. I’ll know better the next time! Thanks Gwen for such amazing products! Also as hot as it is where I work my hair didn’t get hard but stayed in place and felt very good as the days go by and I do my nightly moisturizing regimen with a little of step 2&3 and silk scarf all of about 5 minutes!

This gel is the BOMB!!! I was super skeptical at first. I said, "I wish I would pay $33 for some hair gel." Then I got curious, " I just wanna see what its like." Well, I bought some an lost my mind. Gwen I have never had a gel that I loved this much. Its smooth, its easy to apply and it holds oh so well. So this is what I do. I turn the container upside down so some will be up in the lid when I open it. I sit the container away from me so I dont accidentally tip over the container with my $33 gel in it. Because if I did, I would have a whole cow! I really hope everyone gives it a try. It is so worth it cause Gwen stuck her foot in this one, wow, just like her other products....

Next morning curl definition was still shining through with my perm rod twist out and had great curl definition with Dramatic Definition Gel (DDG) it was soft shiny but yet still fluffy and at the end of an usual windy day my curl definition was still coming through. I was truly blown away when I tried the Dramatic Definition Gel! I’ve used gels in the past and they all have been heavy, gooey, and taken a long time to dry. Often, they’d leave gooey globs or white flakes in my hair.
THIS gel is above all the rest! The consistency is light and the smell is wonderful. A “dab” truly does do ya! I got a light hold on my wash and go with just a small amount on top of Step 2! And the definition lasts!!! My wash and go’s last a week!!

Dramatic Definition Gel has a great fresh scent; a very light consistency with a light, but lasting hold; and NO crunch. A little goes a lonnng way.
My curls were shiny with no sticky residue, extremely defined and they still had great movement.
