Since the beginning of time European beauty standards have been at the forefront of American media. If we look back in time at the winners of Miss Universe, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss America we see mostly European women holding the top spots. And as time went on, a few winners of color were sprinkled in there for good measure.
