3 Natural Hairstyles to Try This Fall
Fall is finally here! AND… the start of a new season is the perfect time to switch up your look. After all, you’re trading in your summer clothes for your fall wardrobe, so why not change up your hair, too?
The following 3 hairstyles are guaranteed to keep you looking hot as the weather starts to cool down. Each hairstyle is suitable for all hair types, so read on to find your new fall look.
#1: Box braid bun
Buns are always on-trend during the fall, and putting your box braids in a bun is a great way to join in the fall bun craze while adding a twist to the classic style.
To achieve this look, separate your hair into two sections and braid them separately. Once both sections are braided, wrap them together to form a bun on the top of your head.
This quick hairstyle can be dressed up or down for any occasion, so feel free to try it with all your best fall ’fits.
#2: Half-up, half-down with a top knot
This style is the perfect choice for a lazy fall weekend. Since you’re only pulling approximately half of your hair into a top knot, this look is easy to recreate whenever you want to style your hair quickly before heading out the door.
To achieve this look, section off the top half of your hair with a hair tie (or less if you’d like more of your curls to be loose) and divide that section into two. Twist the two sections around each other to make them into one piece.
Then, twist your hair around the hair tie, and pin your top knot in place. Fluff out your loose curls, and then you’re good to go!
#3: Scarf updo
Not only is this style super easy and customizable but adding a scarf is a great way to add a pop of color to your outfit.
I like to pineapple my hair at the top of my head with a hair tie before wrapping my scarf around my head and tying it at the back. Once I’m all wrapped up, I remove the hair tie and let my curls do their thang.
Since there are multiple ways to tie your headscarf, you can add your own twist to this style with ease. Whether you want to cover your entire head with the scarf, use it as a headband while wearing your curls loose, or anything in between, adding a scarf is a perfect way to upgrade your look for fall.
