Hi I'm allergic to avocado (& almonds). What do you suggest I use or do? I was thinking of making my own product, so I can control the ingredients. Thank You
Hi! If you have an avocado allergy, I don't suggest using our Clay Treatment, as avocado oil is included in this product. (Not: there is no almond oil in our Clay Treatment.) A DIY option might be the ideal option in the case of an avocado allergy. Our moisturizing creme doesn't have any avocados or almonds in it, so that might be an excellent option for you to try! How many uses can I get out of one bottle?
The vast majority of customers get 5-7 different wash days out of the 8oz bottle. If you're heavy handed, you may get a little less than that, so it's important to remember that a little goes a *very* long way. Because there are no sulfates in the product, it does not suds up, and a small percentage of customers overcompensate by going H.A.M. with the Clay Treatment. Remember, a little dab'll do ya! Keep that in mind, and you'll enjoy several wash days with one bottle.
Since I have low porosity hair I often sit under a hooded dryer for my deep conditioner to really work. Is this a step that I can still continue to do and at which point would I do it?
Hey there Faye!
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Deep conditioning is always a great choice! Usually our customers wash their hair with Step 1, rinse then reapply Step 1, using that as a deep conditioner with a steamer or hood dryer. On our YouTube page, we have a few videos that discuss deep conditioning treatments with steam. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73tzaD8boXc&t=14s
I would also like to invite you to join our community of beautiful women who have amazing hair advice for how to get optimal results with the products (steaming). They are a great support with wonderful ideas---and a very active and vocal group, the Naturalicious Nation: https://www.facebook.com/groups/512736795554813/
Hope this helps!
